Ordnance Survey: the new era of mapping

Ordnance Survey (OS), a British mapping institution, aims to remain a mapping leader in the digital age while addressing the growing demand for outdoor activities and serving an important public mission for healthy living. Our long-standing collaboration involved designing and developing several applications, including OS Maps for hiking enthusiasts interested in sharing their trials and Secret Stories for exploring unique and captivating locations.

Debt management solution for bank customers

One of the largest Polish banks (a part of the Global Bank) needed a solution for restructuring customers’ debts – a place where users can manage their debts, for example, change the payment schedule. The most important element of this project was integrating the solution with an online banking platform and many bank services delivering data across other systems. Thanks to the integrations, a customer stays within the same system and can use online banking features without leaving the Bank’s website.

Enhancing UX for a global water solutions leader

Our client, a global leader in water solutions, aimed to develop a mobile app that would provide tangible value to their customers. However, the initial launch, which was undertaken by a previous supplier, encountered significant setbacks due to a lack of expertise, issues with UX/UI design, and functionality flaws. We took over the responsibility for the project, conducted tests, implemented UX/UI improvements, fixed bugs, and optimised performance. This turnaround not only restored the client’s reputation but also positioned them for success in the digital realm.

The Qt Company: robot arm sample demo

The aim of this project was to create a sample demo presenting the capabilities of the Qt Design Studio and Qt Creator with the new Qt version 6.4. The project required utilising specific Qt elements like adapting to mobile and desktop screens, timeline animation, operating a 3D model or Qt Quick Controls. Spyrosoft took charge of the project, handling concept, UI/UX design, 3D modeling, and preparing the final project. Our deliverables included a 3D robot arm model, fully operational projects, and a manual for building and running the demo sample.

Supporting digital transformation at Simplyhealth

Our collaboration with Simplyhealth, a UK healthcare services provider with over 1,000 employees, began in 2019 and expanded to involve 30 team members in projects such as Salesforce development, HealthPlan microservices development, digital communication enhancements, Dental Dashboard changes, and IT support.

Hazard analysis and risk assessment in automotive

Our client, a global Tier 1 company specialising in providing complete systems and sub-systems for the automotive industry, aimed to develop systems for an autonomous bus classified as level 5. Spyrosoft’s role included creating a hazard analysis with risk assessment (HARA). Regular meetings with the client led to the establishment of safety goals and violation scenarios, along with safety mechanisms to mitigate risk.

Making surgical training accessible and affordable with Crescent Med

Crescent Med, a Dutch startup that produces the Crescent Vision Live headcam for real-time surgical streaming for educational purposes, approached us to design and develop a web platform for the project because they did not have enough developers on their team. They provided us with a general vision of how the platform might look like, along with documentation for their code repository. We transformed this vision into a list of requirements, which we then used to develop the platform.

Advanced streaming solution that harnesses top-tier OTT and front-end technologies

Nordisk Film, a prominent entity in the Nordic entertainment region intended to diversify their offering with a subscription-based video streaming application. To deliver the most optimal outcome for Nordisk Film, we collaborated with another major OTT service provider over this extensive project. Our main focus was on ensuring versatility and user-friendliness while making the platform compatible across various devices.
